Designer tools for stamping and blanking dies

Ten calculators built from the official NITROGAS 2024 catalogue and cross-checked against Bordignon / KALLER / DADCO technical data. No login, no registration, no data leaves your browser - all the math runs client-side.

Toolkit

10 calculators, one knowledge base

Note Only the Cross-Reference Finder ships with hand-translated EN copy in this release. The other nine tools open in Polish - EN translations land in Phase 9.5.2 once the EN traffic outcome is measured.

Tool #1 · Phase 3

Cross-Reference Finder

Available

Paste a competitor code (KALLER, AZOLGAS, DADCO, Bordignon, ...) and get the exact NITROGAS counterpart in 200 ms.

Input
SKU code from any of 37 brands
Output
NITROGAS counterpart + confidence + full comparison sheet

Tool #2 · Phase 5

Tonnage calculator

Available

Enter required clamping force and working stroke - we calculate the spring count with a safety margin and suggest concrete catalogue codes.

Input
force [kN], stroke [mm], safety factor
Output
spring count + suggested series from catalogue

Tool #3 · Phase 5

F(s) force curve

Available

Visualiser for force build-up along the stroke - interactive slider, F(s) = F0 · (1 + K2 · s/Smax), with per-family K2 constants.

Input
F0 [daN], Smax [mm], family (G/K/HD/T/CN/A)
Output
F(s) chart + force at the selected point

Tool #4 · Phase 5

Temperature derating

Available

Check the spring force at process temperature. +0.34%/K coefficient, NBR limits -10 °C to +80 °C, LT/HT variant proposals outside the range.

Input
F(20°C) [daN], ambient temperature [°C]
Output
force at temperature + warnings + variant pick

Tool #5 · Phase 5

Cycle-rate validator

Available

Check whether the planned press cycle rate will overheat the springs. Per-family and per-stroke limit scaling, burst-mode recommendations.

Input
cycle rate [strokes/min], working stroke, family
Output
continuous limit + burst window + cooling recommendation
Open tool (PL)
Tool #6 · Phase 6

BOM cart + RFQ

In preparation

Drag-and-drop an Excel BOM from your ERP, automatic matching against the NITROGAS database, single RFQ submission.

Input
BOM list (XLSX/PDF) or manual entries
Output
cart + matched NITROGAS codes + single RFQ
Tool #7 · Phase 8

Manifold sizer

Available

Accumulator volume and hydraulic ΔP between manifold-mounted springs - 5 bar safety limit. Darcy-Weisbach model + peak v_return = 1.5 m/s.

Input
spring count, pipe length, pipe bore diameter
Output
accumulator volume + ΔP + recommended bore

Methodology

What sits behind the numbers

Open sources

Formulas straight from the catalogue

Every function in our rules engine (src/lib/nitrogas/rules.ts) cites a specific section of the NITROGAS 2024 catalogue and PED Directive 2014/68/EU. Constants (K2 per family, cycle limits, thermal coefficient ALPHA_T = 0.0034 K⁻¹) are published.

Cross-validated

Compared with Bordignon, KALLER, DADCO

We use the most restrictive limits among the three main manufacturers. A number that passes our validators also passes their catalogue data sheets.

No backend tracking

All the math runs in your browser

Tools #2-#5 execute zero server requests - your design parameters never leave your computer. Exception: the tonnage calculator optionally queries the NITROGAS catalogue to suggest concrete part numbers.

Guidance, not approval

The tools help with selection and sanity-checking. Final documentation for PED, press FMEA and certification requires individual assessment - get in touch with our engineering desk.
