The mother of all metal belts
Spiral Woven / Balanced Weave belts
An almost infinite number of versions: from ultra-strong for heavy and hot products to dense weaves for fine goods. The Rod Reinforced (RR) type works up to +1200 °C.

Balanced weave is the mother of all metal belts - a weave with a virtually infinite number of versions and applications: from ultra-strong (heavy loads across large widths or very hot products) to very dense weaves for small products and fine goods requiring stable support.
The belts have a perfectly round edge, even at a small radius, ensuring clean transfer to the next process stage. From conveying in glass furnaces and industrial ovens to decorative partitions in architecture - balanced weave solves the most complex applications.
Full load range
From ultra-strong for heavy products to dense weaves for fine goods.
Up to +1200 °C
The Rod Reinforced (RR) type is dedicated to the highest temperatures.
Clean transfer
Perfectly round edge even at a small turning radius.
Material freedom
Ferrous and non-ferrous metals, combinations and heat-resistant alloys.
Technical specification

Versions and construction types
SP - Woven on one side
Base balanced weave woven on one side.
GS - Crimped wires
Alternately woven L/R for straight tracking; sprocket drive.
RS - Straight wires
Straight wirelink.
RR - Rod Reinforced
Rod-reinforced structure - applications up to +1200 °C.
CB - Compound belt
Additional pins and spirals - a very densely woven belt.
Edge finishing
- Looped edges Easily joined endless.
- Welded edges Small links that don't bend.
- With chains For side drive/guidance.
Drive
- Friction rollers across the full belt width
- Positive (form-fit) drive by sprockets (GS type)
Options
- Edge plates and/or flights
- Pins bent upwards (standing edge) on selected types

Frequently asked questions
Which type withstands +1200 °C?
The Rod Reinforced (RR) type - a rod-reinforced structure dedicated to the highest-temperature applications, including glass furnaces and heat treatment.
How is a balanced weave belt driven?
Normally by friction rollers across the full belt width. The GS version (crimped wires) allows positive (form-fit) sprocket drive and ensures straight tracking.
How do you make the belt endless?
Most simply by looped edges. Alternatively welded edges (rigid, small links) or with chains - depending on the application.
