Baking

A stable, breathable conveying surface for tunnel and band ovens - no distortion at high temperature.

Baking is a controlled thermal process in which the belt is an integral part of the oven - it influences heat transfer, residence time and product stability. Twentebelt metal belts keep their dimensions and predictable tracking under continuous high-temperature operation, which plastic belts cannot.

The belt's open structure (mesh, eyes) lets hot air circulate freely around the product and removes steam, while still giving stable support as the dough rises and sets. Band ovens for biscuits and bread usually use balanced weave (Spiral Woven); heavier products use Eyelink or Wire Mesh.

Why a metal belt

  • Dimensional stability and straight tracking at high temperature (up to +600 °C, up to +1200 °C in the RR version).
  • Open structure = even air circulation and moisture removal.
  • Positive (form-fit) drive eliminates slippage and mistracking in a hot oven.

Spiral Woven

Spiral Woven

The most versatile weave - from heavy, hot products to fine goods. Rod Reinforced type up to +1200 °C. Perfectly round edge = clean transfer.

Eyelink

Eyelink

Flat, stable surface with positive (form-fit) drive. The single-level weave eliminates the tunnel effect. Twentebelt is the worldwide leader in this construction.

Wire Mesh

Wire Mesh

Large openings and minimal product contact. Small turning radius = excellent transfer. FDA / GMP / EC 1935/2004 compliant.

Special belts

Special belts

Combinox hybrid, self-supporting plate belts, filter belts and ready-made 90° conveyor curves - solutions beyond the standard range.
