Freezing

Belts for spiral freezers and IQF tunnels - stable in cryogenics, down to -80 °C.

Freezing - especially IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) - requires fast, even heat removal from every product. Stainless steel keeps full stability even in cryogenics (down to -80 °C) and does not become brittle like plastics.

Spiral freezers are dominated by TwenteFlex belts (weld-free spirals - fewer failures and stoppages), while straight and curved layouts use Eyelink, Wire Mesh and TwenteSideFlex with outside drive.

Why a metal belt

  • Stability in cryogenics down to -80 °C.
  • Open structure = fast, even IQF freezing.
  • Weld-free TwenteFlex - fewer failures in spiral freezers.

TwenteFlex™

TwenteFlex™

Weld-free spiral with a bent rod - the end of cracking welds and sharp edges. Hygienic, easy to clean. Full Metal or POM/PA6 hybrid version.

Eyelink

Eyelink

Flat, stable surface with positive (form-fit) drive. The single-level weave eliminates the tunnel effect. Twentebelt is the worldwide leader in this construction.
